It is important to remember that
owners, new dogs and children need to be socialised.

There are undeniably many Dog Breeds that are suitable for placing in the same environment as children.
When choosing a small dog to live in a household with children you should consider that some dogs are so small they may get injured easily by boisterous young children, conversely some dogs are large and very active which could be an accident waiting to happen around young children.

Dogs living in an environment with children need strict training and handling, and some breeds are considered to be more child-friendly or suitable than others.

Bichon Frise

Not overly intelligent which means patience is required when training..Has a low exercise requirement but can be high-energy dogs that love to cuddle. Can shed quite a bit which mighy require regular grooming.
